7EMI ("we", "our", "us") operates 7emi.com (the "Site"), a free suite of online calculator tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the Site and how it is handled.
1. Information We Collect
7EMI's calculators run entirely in your browser. Numbers you type into a calculator (loan amount, weight, date of birth, etc.) are processed locally on your device and are not sent to or stored on our servers.
We may automatically collect limited technical data through standard web analytics and hosting logs, such as:
- Approximate location (country/city level, derived from IP address)
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on the Site
- Referring website or search engine
2. Cookies
The Site may use cookies or browser local storage to remember your preferences (such as light/dark mode) and, if analytics or advertising are enabled, to understand aggregate usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; core calculator functionality will continue to work without them.
3. Third-Party Services
The currency converter tool fetches live exchange rates from a third-party exchange-rate API. This request only sends the currency codes you selected, not any personal information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services linked from or used by this Site.
If we use analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics) or advertising networks in the future, this section will be updated to name them specifically.
4. How We Use Information
Any technical/analytics data collected is used only to understand overall Site usage, fix bugs, and improve performance. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use calculator inputs for any purpose beyond displaying your result.
5. Data Retention
Since calculator inputs are never transmitted to us, there is nothing for us to retain. Aggregate analytics logs, if any, are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data held about you (for example under GDPR in the EU/UK, or similar laws elsewhere). Since we do not knowingly store personal data from calculator use, most requests will simply confirm that no such data exists. You can still contact us with any privacy question.

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
